Other Duties as Assigned

We’re not sure who assigned Le Hook the ancillary job of assisting Santa Claus, but he sure does look the part and children of all ages respond when he talks to them.

Le, otherwise known as one of USITT’s Conference Committee troubleshooters, even maintains a blog talking about his experiences. Because the beard is real, he only has to be sure his suit and boots are in ready for the holiday season.

USITT Office Helps Local Charity

Members of the USITT National Office Staff in Syracuse, New York organized a drive to provide food, clothing, and a few technology upgrades to the local Samaritan Center. To enlarge the scope of what was donated, USITT asked all the other offices in the building to participate as well, and several responded admirably.

Because the pre-Thanksgiving effort was so successful, additional items were collected and given to the center, which helps both homeless and at-risk individuals.

It is scheduled from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at the Delta Center.
