Joe Aldridge, USITT Vice-President for Conferences, has announced that Phoenix, Arizona will be the site for USITT's Annual Conference & Stage Expo in 2007.

"Phoenix is making major improvements in its Convention Center, and USITT will benefit from the upgrades which are taking place," Mr. Aldridge noted. "We have great theatres nearby and the city has outstanding resources to host our events."

Conference dates are Wednesday, March 14 to Sunday, March 17 with Stage Expo running its traditional Thursday through Saturday.

Members of the Desert State Regional Section are actively involved in the planning process to bring a unique regional flavor for which USITT is noted to Conference programming in 2007.

Mr. Aldridge also noted that for members looking to extend their Conference experience, the average high temperature in Phoenix during March is 74 degrees, allowing a broad range of activities including the golf for which the area is renowned.
