InfoTrace Wins Third Award |
Wybron, Inc.'s InfoTrace System won a New Product Award at the 2006 Worship Facilities Conference and Expo (WFX) held in Dallas, Texas. This award recognizes the InfoTrace system as one of the most innovative new technology products to hit the houses of worship market.
The WFX honor marks the third new product award bestowed on Wybron's InfoTrace system in the past three months. It also won awards during the PLASA and LDI trade shows. This is the first time any product has won all three awards in one year.

Vitec Acquires TOMCAT |
Mitch Clark, president and CEO of Texas-based TOMCAT Global, Inc. has announced an agreement selling the stock and assets of the company to UK based Vitec Group plc.
TOMCAT is a manufacturer of staging and lighting support equipment for the entertainment industry.
Gareth Rhys Williams, chief executive of Vitec, said, "I am delighted to announce this acquisition. TOMCAT is an incredible company that enhances our portfolio of leading brands. Combining the strength of the TOMCAT brand with our other growth businesses in this field, Litec and Clear-com, is a strategic step which will enhance our position as a leading supplier to the entertainment industry."

Jaeckel Wins TOMCAT Scholarship |
Kurt Jaeckel of Quickbeam Systems, Inc. in Albuquerque, New Mexico won a scholarship offered by TOMCAT at this year's LDI Show. Mr. Jaeckel can choose to attend the 2007 Hoist and Rigging Workshop or the Advanced Truss and Motor Workshop.
QSI is an event production company that covers a wide range of services including video, audio, lighting, roofing and rigging.
TOMCAT's annual school is February 21 to 24 in Midland, Texas. It includes workshops pertaining to hoist, rigging, truss, and fall protection taught by some of the foremost experts in the industry. TOMCAT also offers the Advanced Hoist and Truss Workshop February 23 to 24 in Midland.
