J.R. Clancy Win ISO Recertification

J.R. Clancy, Inc.'s Quality Management System has been recertified as meeting the rigorous International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 standard. Clancy is a design, manufacturing, and installation company for school and theatrical stage rigging equipment based in Syracuse, New York.

In announcing the achievement, the company notes that "J.R. Clancy remains the only North American designer, manufacturer, and installer of school and theatrical rigging equipment to have its Quality Management System certified to the ISO standard."

Bob Theis, chief executive officer of the company said "This designation sets J.R. Clancy apart and makes a strong statement about our commitment to quality." A critical component of the company's internal control system is its Project Quality Assurance Plan, a disciplined protocol that covers all stages of every project, from bidding to close-out.
