Andrew Nikel has joined City Theatrical, Inc.’s sales staff. A lighting industry veteran, Mr. Nikel was most recently an account manager at PRG Lighting in New Jersey. He has also worked as a master electrician and technical director and received his bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College. For City Theatrical, he will work closely with the company’s network of lighting distributors as well as consulates, designers, and lighting professionals to increase awareness and sales of the WDS Wireless Data System, CTI’s accessories for Color Kinetics products, the AutoYoke, EFX Plus, and the company’s line of lighting accessories for Source Four and other lighting fixtures.

ESTA, the Entertainment Services and Technology Association, has launched its redesigned web site at its familiar address, www.esta.org. The site runs on a new server donated by Wybron, and includes easier navigation, faster access to important information, and increased search functions in its online Membership Directory.

The site also contains information on the Technical Standards Program including documents, standards in public review, and meeting schedules. Information about ETCP, the Entertainment Technician Certification Program is available at www.etcp.esta.org or by linking from the main site.
