Lighting Studio 2018
The Lighting Design and Technology Commission is pleased to present a new initiative — The Lighting Studio — at the upcoming 2018 Conference and Stage Expo in Fort Lauderdale. The Lighting Studio is a small, intimate, and interactive space allowing the exploration of cutting edge equipment. The studio consists of four small-scaled lighting setups each with a control console and several lighting units providing additional training and educational opportunities.
Attendees may reserve a time in the studio where they can explore and learn about the gear. The Lighting Design and Technology Commission will also provide pre-programmed projects and lighting challenges testing the knowledge and skills of studio participants. Due to the limited space and equipment, sign-ups are required for a time slot to work in the studio, however all Conference attendees are encouraged to look into the studio.
