Ariana Schwartz, a student at the University of Texas at Austin whose work is shown above, will be honored with a USITT Award for Young Designers & Technicians in the Performing Arts at the 2010 Annual Conference. The quality of her designs and letters of support stood out to the selection committee who awarded Ms. Schwartz the USITT Costume Design & Technology Award sponsored by Zelma H. Weisfeld.
