Three Products Debut at LDI 2009

J.R. Clancy, Inc. recently introduced three new products at LDI 2009 – Altus and Powerlift T with SureTarget Controller, and SureBrake II.

Created with middle and high schools in mind, Altus is based on a PLC computer platform—the same operating system that controls elevators, CNC manufacturing and assembly lines. Clancy put its long history with its popular SceneControl 500 rigging control system to work to create a system that’s as dependable and powerful as its leading controller while making it affordable for schools.

SureTarget provides pushbutton control with four user-definable preset stops. Operators simply press the up or down button to move the batten to the preset position eliminating the guesswork involved in returning a motorized batten to the right trim using simple up/down control.

Quieter, safer operation, even at maximum speed, is the advantage J. R. Clancy offers with its new PowerLifts featuring SureBrake II, an electric load brake that’s even more effective than its predecessor, the Weston brake.
