Snowstorm Doesn't Hinder Chesapeake EXPO

The Chesapeake Regional Section hosted a Mini-EXPO on January 23 on the campus of Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. Nearly three dozen hardy members (many newly registered!) braved the looming snow storm to take part in a day-long series of workshops in costuming, lighting and set design.

The Section also held its annual meeting. Principal items on the agenda included passage of by-law amendments, confirmation of officers elected at last September's EXPO 2004 -1/2, and a special election for an unexpected vacancy on the Board. Section Chair William Price closed the meeting by announcing that Chesapeake Section's 2005 EXPO will be hosted by Catholic University in Washington, DC on Saturday, September 17.
