at High End |
Sean Hoey has
returned to High End Systems Inc.
as the company's new sales manager for the southeastern
United States. He was with High End from 1991
to 2001 and said of his return "I'm
home. I'm optimistic about where the company is headed, and I'm very
glad to be back where I belong."
Fons de Vreede has been promoted
to a new position as European sales director for
High End. He had been sales manager for central
Europe, and will be based in Utrecht, Netherlands.

Kirkegaard in Madison |
Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, Wisconsin celebrated completion of its first phase with an opening festival September 23. A single donor, Jerome Frautschi, provided the construction costs of $205 million. The center was designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates in collaboration with Potter Lawson, Flad & Associates, Theatre Projects Consultants, and Kirkegaard Associates. A second phase of construction is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2006.

Nexera Wins UL Approval |
Wybron's new Nexera dichroic color changing fixtures are being shipped with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. UL and or C-UL labels. All four versions of Nexera – Profile, Profile CDM, Wash, and Wash CDM – have received the approval. The company is proud of the certification, which marks the next step on Wybron's journey "toward the development of a strong product line featuring fixtures built on Wybron's legendary standards."
