Offers Students
PDW Rebates in 2005 For the fifth year in a row, Sapsis Rigging Entertainment Systems will help three lucky student members attend Professional Development Workshops (PDWs) at the USITT Annual Conference & Stage Expo. The Sapsis Rigging Professional Development Award has, in past years, made it possible for young professionals to benefit from the expertise offered at Professional Development Workshops held before the start of USITT's Conference. To be eligible for a rebate of PDW fees, a student member needs to sign up for one of the allotted workshops by the conference's February 10, 2005 Early Registration Deadline. This year's workshops are: Intro to Show Control, Structural Design for the Stage, and the OSHA 10 Hour Course. Bill Sapsis, president of Sapsis Rigging, has requested the USITT office oversee the random drawing from all eligible entries received before the Early Registration deadline. Winners will be notified soon after the drawing. |
