The new PowerAssist counterweight automation system single axis unit has been released by J.R. Clancy. The PowerAssist is a compact fixed-speed unit that mounts under existing locking rails allowing existing counterweight sets to be automated. The PowerAssist, PowerLift, and SceneControl systems were on display as part of the J.R. Clancy booth at LDI 2006.
