Koffman Joins Cast Software

Cast Software has hired Joshua Koffman as assistant product manager. Mr. Koffman, formerly with Spectrum Manufacturing Inc., will focus on the development of WYSIWYG, Cast's flagship lighting design software. "I believe my lighting expertise will only complement Cast's innovative approach to creating software for the entertainment industry," Mr. Koffman said.

Two in New Positions at Leviton

James Cody has been appointed regional lighting control specialist and William Fodor is the Electrical Distribution Division's new marketing director for Leviton.

Mr. Cody will build sales of the company's box-mounted lighting controls and architectural and theatrical control systems in the greater Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte, North Carolina; and South Carolina territories. Mr. Cody is a member of IESNA. He and his family live in Peachtree City, Georgia.

Mr. Fodor will focus on creating marketing, advertising, merchandising, promotional, customer loyalty, in-house, and distributor sales training programs. He and his family live on Long Island, New York.

TOMCAT Assists Queen Production

Since September 2004, TOMCAT has been part of the exclusive North American production of We Will Rock You, featuring the music of Queen, at Le Theatre des Arts at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show has been sold out since its debut.

TOMCAT standard and custom trusses comprise overhead lighting, scenic elements, front of house lighting, as well as several lighting towers. As an example, one tower package includes 30 medium duty plated spans of truss that create 12 30 foot towers. These towers move in and out throughout the show, providing scenic elements as well as lighting locations.

Mehron Adds Character Kit

Mehron has added a new Goth/Punk Character Kit to its line of character products. The kit includes black lipstick, and "no hole" piercing and tongue studs.
