HOA Plans Kansas City Event

The Heart of America Regional Section will hold its Second Annual Regional Conference & Stage Expo October 29 to 31 at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas.

Building on the successes of its first Conference held in December of 2003, the Regional Section invites everyone to Kansas City for an expanded slate of sessions and activities along with a Section Meeting and regional exhibitors. Lance Brockman and Bruce Brockman will be the featured presenters offering several sessions on the History of Scene Painting, and some introductory hands-on work in scenic art.

Organizers are working on another CAD demonstration, Question & Answer Session, and possibly some hands-on time working with moving lights. For more information, contact William Kenyon, Conference Chair, at wkenyon2@unl.edu.
