USITT needs 100 student members to participate in the 2011 Student Volunteer Program. In exchange for at least 15 hours of work at the 2011 Conference & Stage Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina, USITT will waive the Conference registration fee. Assignments vary from conference office support, A/V and computer assistance, Stage Expo special exhibition set-up and tear down, and many other opportunities.

The Student Volunteer Program registration will open on-line starting September 15. At that time, current USITT Student members may register. Registration will be submitted through an online form at www.usitt.org/2011.

After October 6, the Student Volunteer Program will be open to anyone wishing to become a USITT member. Any student who is not a current USITT member may sign up for the program and apply for membership at the same time.

Applicants are selected for the program on a first come, first served basis. Online forms must be completely filled out – including arrival and departure dates. For more information about the Student Volunteer Program, contact Monica L. Merritt, monica@office.usitt.org or 800-938-7488 ext 104.
