Tech Expo – a biennial showcase of creative solutions to common production problems – will be on display at Stage Expo in Cincinnati. Previous projects have involved costumes, paints, lighting, sound, props, rigging, carpentry, metals, automation, projections, and stage management. Additional sponsors who have signed on to support this event are: Ron Fogel & Associates, Inc., and Vincent Lighting Systems.

Attendees looking for a place to check their e-mail and surf the web will appreciate the Cyber Cafés located at Stage Expo (click here to view a map with their locations). The cafés are kiosks outfitted with computers and internet connections. The remaining cafes are now sponsored courtesy of IATSE Local 1, InterAmerica Stage Inc., and Staging Concepts, Inc.

Make plans to join the fun at Opening Night, held Wednesday in the ballroom at the Duke Energy Convention Center. Attendees will enjoy the opportunity to connect with one another before the busy week gets away from them and enjoy hors d’oeuvres provided compliments of generous sponsors (see right for complete list).
