This issue of Sightlines is being launched as USITT’s 50th Annual Conference & Stage Expo gets underway in Kansas City, and that’s the Missouri side of the city for those who might be fooled.

Stage Expo is humming, sessions are being held, and there is a huge sense of excitement about the entire event. There will be much more news about the 50th celebration in the May issue of Sightlines, including announcements about new Fellows of the Institute, special awards, and information about webstreaming.

In the March issue of Sightlines we misstated the school which Beauty Thibodeau, winner of the USITT Make-up Design Award sponsored by Kryolan Professional Makeup, attends. Ms. Thibodeau is scheduled to graduate in May from the University of Texas at Austin. We wish her warmest congratulations and apologize for the error.
